FPV is extraordinary once you can actually fly. Getting to that point is the part nobody has fixed.
WHY FPV
Put on the goggles and you stop watching an aircraft fly — you fly it, through it, at the speed it moves. It is one of the closest things to real flight a person can do without leaving the ground. Nothing about that experience is the hard part.
THE PROBLEM WE ACTUALLY SET OUT TO FIX
Historically, becoming an FPV pilot meant piecing it together yourself: disconnected videos, scattered forums, guesswork about equipment, hours alone in a simulator with no feedback, and expensive trial and error before you ever flew something real. Talented people quit before they got to the part that makes FPV worth it.
WHY WYNGS EXISTS
WYNGS was built by someone who hit that exact wall — who wanted to fly FPV, found no clear way in, and ended up building the missing system instead of a shortcut around it.
That system is the academy: a structured path, real instructors, real equipment and a community, so the next person does not have to solve this alone.

WHY AN ACADEMY, NOT A TUTORIAL LIBRARY
Videos can show you FPV. They cannot correct your throttle input in real time, tell you when your equipment is wrong for your level, or put you in the air safely for the first time. An academy can. Structure, instructors and real progression are the difference between watching FPV and becoming a pilot.

TRAINING PHILOSOPHY
Competency before speed. Every pilot moves from simulator to indoor flight to outdoor flight only when they are actually ready for the next stage — not on a fixed calendar, and never by skipping the fundamentals to get to the exciting part sooner.

COMMUNITY PHILOSOPHY
Nobody keeps flying alone for long. The people who stick with FPV are the ones who found other people to fly with — so the community is treated as core to the academy, not an add-on after training ends.

SAFETY & RESPONSIBILITY
FPV is practiced safely when pilots are properly trained, equipment is appropriate for their level, and flights happen in controlled or legal environments. Safety is part of the curriculum from the first session, not a waiver signed on the way in.

WHERE THIS IS HEADED
WYNGS will start as one academy in one city. The system — simulator to real flight, instructors, equipment, community and a pilot record that follows you — is being built to grow beyond Calgary once it proves itself there first.
CALGARY — THE FIRST LOCATION
WYNGS's first academy is opening in Calgary, early 2027. It's where the system will get built, tested and proven before it goes anywhere else.
